Stop by one of our pop-ups to discuss your top community priorities. And fill out our survey so we know where you stand.
As the District of Squamish begins planning for the 2025-2029 Financial Plan (municipal budget), we wish to understand the community's priorities. Public input received will support Council to make decisions on the services, projects and initiatives to invest in 2025 and beyond. Part of our engagement efforts will also be to communicate to residents how and why decisions are made. Conversations with community members and various forms of public input (e.g. surveys) will aim to create alignment between community priorities and Council decision-making. We are listening!
There will be two ways that we will seek early public input into the 2025 budget:
1) An online survey (below) to better understand community priorities.
2) A four-part series of pop-ups across Squamish with District Council members and/or staff - an opportunity for residents to have conversations about their priorities.
