BC Housing is working with the District of Squamish to identify a site for HEART & HEARTH temporary transitional housing, which will provide safe, stable housing for adults (19+) from the local area who are at risk of experiencing homelessness.

BC Housing is considering both District-owned and non-District-owned sites. No site has been confirmed at this stage. We aim to open this much-needed housing in Squamish by fall-winter 2026.
