BC Housing is working with the District of Squamish to identify a site for HEART & HEARTH temporary transitional housing, which will provide safe, stable housing for adults (19+) from the local area who are at risk of experiencing homelessness.

BC Housing is considering both District-owned and non-District-owned sites. They are currently reviewing a site at 37956 Loggers Lane (Xwu’nekw Park). No site has been confirmed. We aim to open this much-needed housing in Squamish by fall-winter 2026.
