The District of Squamish is looking at how to support Asset Sharing Within Squamish

The District of Squamish is undertaking a study that explores the opportunities for the sharing of assets (ex. equipment, vehicles, space, tools, business outputs, staffing and knowledge) by Squamish businesses, non-profits, community organizations, and residents.

The study is reviewing the ways Squamish businesses, non-profits, community organizations, and residents can be supported to:

  • Access resources that might otherwise be out of reach; and/or
  • Generate revenue or other benefits from idle resources or resources that are no longer needed.

This work is part of the District’s Circular Economy Implementation Plan and is funded by the Province of BC’s Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP).

Ways to participate:

  1. Are you a Squamish Resident? Please complete the online Sharing in Squamish Survey for Residents. The survey normally takes 5-10 minutes to complete and closes on March 31st.
