3. Join us November 14 for the Budget Information Night

Please join us for an evening of conversation as Council shares the priorities and challenges for the coming five years, as laid out in the proposed 2024-2028 Financial Plan.

November 14, 6-9 p.m. - Howe Sound Secondary School (Foyer)

  • A presentation delivered by Mayor Hurford will be followed by a facilitated Q&A discussion.
  • Once the Q&A ends the remainder of the evening will be spent mingling around various budget info boards around the room, and engaging in 1:1 or small group conversations.


Light refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

  • 6 p.m. - Arrival, sign-in, mingle, settle-in
  • 6:30 p.m. - Budget presentation followed by a facilitated Q&A discussion
  • 7:30 p.m. (approximately) - Open House style event with 1:1 discussions with Council and staff
  • 9 p.m. - Event ends


Roaming mics will be available for the public to ask questions of Council during the facilitate Q&A. Staff budget managers will also be on hand to answer technical questions.
