Thank you to everyone who participated in the Ravenswood Park survey this past spring. We received over 100 responses and heard a strong desire to see the park evolve into a welcoming space where neighbours, children, and families can gather, play, and connect. Your feedback has been instrumental in shaping the park improvements that will move forward.

The District has now finalized a phased Park Plan based on this feedback and is moving forward with Phase 1 Park improvements this fall. Note that there is currently no District funding to build out any of the Phase 2 improvements. You can view the phased Park Plan here, along with all the project information that has been provided to date. There may be adjustments along the way to keep the Project within available funding, but largely this is the Plan we will follow. For more detailed information, view the project page here.

Construction of Phase 1 is anticipated to take place in October-November 2026. Following construction, the improved area will be temporarily fenced over the winter to allow plants to establish, with the fencing removed in spring 2027.

Thank you again for helping shape the future of Ravenswood Park. We look forward to sharing this renewed community space with you.
